Data Analytics
Data analytics is the process of collecting, cleaning, organizing, and examining data to discover useful patterns and insights that support better decision-making. Instead of relying on guesses, organizations use tools like Excel and Power BI to turn raw numbers into charts, reports, and dashboards that clearly show performance, trends, and problems. This helps managers, schools, hospitals, and businesses understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what actions to take. Cost–Benefit Analysis (CBA) is used to determine whether a project is worth doing by comparing the total costs involved with the total benefits expected. Costs may include software, training, time, and maintenance, while benefits may include time savings, improved accuracy, increased productivity, and better decisions. If the benefits are greater than the costs, the project provides value and is considered a good investment. A Feasibility Report goes further by examining whether the project can realistically succeed. It evaluates technical feasibility (tools and skills available), financial feasibility (affordability), operational feasibility (whether people will use it), and schedule feasibility (completion time). Together, cost–benefit analysis and feasibility studies help organizations reduce risk, use resources wisely, and confidently decide whether to proceed with a project.
